Saamra Mekuria-Grillo
Founder of Kindred, and is an experienced CEO and COO. She brings expertise in Executive Leadership, Network Development, and Strategy & Operations from her time at Google, Bain & Company, the Pahara Institute, and Formation Ventures. Saamra has been honored as a Pahara Fellow, a Schmidt Futures Innovation Fellow, a Highland Project Leader, and a TED-Ed speaker.
Nick Barr
15-year career as a founder and product leader at venture-backed and non-profits, including Principal Product Manager at Khan Academy and Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Hello World. He brings expertise in Product Development, Network Development, and Go-To-Market Strategy. Nick has advised and mentored dozens of startups within Union Square Ventures, Betaworks, and Techstars networks since 2011.
Zach Landes
An experienced software engineer who brings over 10 years of experience designing and launching innovative products, and building quality data infrastructure. He has previously worked at Ness Computing, Walmart eCommerce, and Gracenote.
Maggie Scott-Weathers
Chief of staff at Kindred. She was previously the chief of staff for Formation Ventures, and before that, Maggie held several roles at the Pahara Institute and worked on voter access and information at the Democratic National Committee.
